Cancellation and no-show policy
Naturopathic Health Solutions respects that your time is valuable, and we understand that appointments are sometimes unavoidably cancelled. Like yours, our time is valuable too, and other clients may miss the opportunity to have an appointment during your time slot.
Considering we have a large database of clients on our waiting list seeking an urgent appointment, this allows us to offer your appointment to someone else who may need it. Since we turn away other patients to hold your appointment, any missed appointments or cancellations with less than 48 hours’ notice will result in a cancellation fee.
We have a 48-hour weekday cancellation policy. Any appointments cancelled less than 48 weekday hours prior to the booking will be impacted by this policy — and the same policy applies if you don’t show up to your appointment.

When cancellation fees won’t apply
- Any cancellations or no-shows that occur 48 hours or more before the scheduled time are able to be re-booked at no additional cost to the client.
- If you need to cancel your appointment within 24 hours due to an illness, we will gladly reschedule your appointment and waive the cancellation fee.
When cancellation fees will apply
- Any subsequent cancellations by or for the same client that occur within the 48-hour weekday period will result in a cancellation fee. The cancellation fee will be half the value of the consultation fee for the booking that was made and subsequently cancelled.
- Clients who make a booking and subsequently fail to show up to their appointment (without contacting the clinic to cancel) will incur a cancelled-booking fee. This fee will be the full value of the consultation fee for the booking that was made and subsequently missed.
We’ll avoid the fee as best we can, if you can too
We wish to avoid cancellation fees at all costs. If you feel that your fee has been unfairly issued, or that your circumstances were unavoidable, we will consider a waiver on a case-by-case basis. Please phone us at least 48 weekday hours prior to your appointment time to avoid the fee and give others the chance to take your time slot.
