Customer Responsibilities

Customers must provide accurate information relating to the property, site conditions, required services, and any relevant technical requirements.

• Provide reasonable access to the property or work area.
• Provide access to required power, network, or other infrastructure where applicable.
• Obtain any necessary permissions or approvals relating to the property.
• Inform us of known site hazards or restrictions.
• Use installed systems in accordance with applicable instructions and recommendations.

Installation and Access

Installation dates and timeframes will be arranged with the customer where reasonably practicable. Delays may occur due to circumstances outside our reasonable control, including equipment availability, site access, weather, third-party services, or unforeseen site conditions.

Where additional work is identified during installation that falls outside the agreed scope, we may notify you and seek approval before proceeding where reasonably practicable.

Payment Terms

Payment terms will be stated in the applicable quotation, invoice, or service agreement. Customers are responsible for paying invoices by the applicable due date.

Where payment is overdue, Tech Security may suspend or delay services to the extent permitted by law and the applicable agreement.

Equipment and Warranties

Security equipment may be supplied by third-party manufacturers. Manufacturer warranties may apply to equipment supplied or installed by Tech Security, subject to the applicable manufacturer’s terms and conditions.

Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits any consumer guarantee, warranty, right, or remedy that cannot legally be excluded under Australian Consumer Law.

CCTV, Alarms and Security Systems

Security systems are designed to assist with property protection, monitoring, detection, and access management. No security system can guarantee the prevention of theft, damage, unauthorised access, or other incidents.

Customers are responsible for using security systems lawfully and appropriately. Customers should ensure that CCTV cameras, recording systems, access-control systems, and related technology are used in accordance with applicable privacy, surveillance, workplace, and other laws.

Smart Automation

Smart automation services may depend on compatible hardware, software, internet connectivity, power supply, third-party platforms, and manufacturer services. Tech Security cannot guarantee uninterrupted availability where a service depends on third-party systems or infrastructure outside our reasonable control.
